NTSA Re-Launches Ultra Modern Self-Service Mobile App
The (NTSA) has relaunched its online program, the NTSA self-serve mobile app.
The updated app is geared toward offering a better experience to members of the community seeking the authority’s services, such as confirming the validity of licenses.
The fresh online platform has also been designed to support the confirmation of Boda Boda records and driving school instructor licenses.
The NTSA said on Friday that the rollout comes at a time when the authority has re-engineered its operational systems, revised the Transport Integrated Management System (TIMS), and also broadened access to all and more so, to render excellent services to society.
Other components of the ultra-modern online platform comprise complaint management, TIMS interrogations, and data access.
“The NTSA App gives a simple and safe license validation platform and is intended to provide a personalized assistance experience to customers,” NTSA said.
The new online platform verifies Matatu Sacco data, vehicle inspection status, Road Service Licence (RSL), PSV badge facts, and Night Travel Licence.
Other services extended through the online platform comprise driving licenses and interim driving licenses.
The re-launch of the NTSA Self Service App is in line with the authority’s reform program that is pointed toward service efficiency, reliability, and convenience.
This preceded the authority’s resumption of seven integral services that had been halted since February 13.
The authorities clarified that the resumption followed a bar ruling issued on April 25 that heaved the moratorium on driving school operations.
In recognition of the endeavours of the Ministry of Transport and the Authority (NTSA) in acknowledging the ruling and in the public interest, the judiciary on April 25, 2022, ripped off the suspension of the enactment of the rules as the process of laying the regulations before the whole Houses of Parliament.
“The Ministry and the Authority, hereby, take this chance to inform the nation of the resumption of the forenamed services,” NTSA declared at the time.
